September: Ashley and Sapphire attended the Cowichan Exhibition and won their classes: Best Horse Foaled in the Cowichan Valley and Mare most likely to produce a Hunter Type Foal. For more information on Sapphire's sire, Sagnol, and grandsire, Sandro Hit, go to the Sires page.

October: Congratulations to the Humberstone family on their purchase of Torino. He has settled into his new home very nicely and we are thrilled that he has gone to such great owners.

November: Solly is taking all his training "in stride" and with a maturity beyond his 2 1/2 years. I have been lungeing him, he's been introduced to the bridle and saddle and now I am sitting on him. I'll leave him over the winter and start more training with him in the spring.
