J & C Sporthorses, at the south end of the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island, provides Sporthorses For Sale for performance and pleasure. Located in the rural Cobble Hill/Mill Bay area on our family’s 240 acre farm, our goal is to breed one or two quality youngsters each year – suitable for the all-round performance or pleasure rider.

Our horses have year round turn out, plenty of grazing and excellent homegrown hay. They are familiar with the various sights and sounds of a working farm and they encounter lots of different types of terrain in their large pastures. The horses are handled regularly and the farrier trims their feet as needed. After a late weaning, the foals are placed in a small, gentle herd to just be “horses”. | | | | We strive to produce friendly, happy horses with sound, athletic bodies. By giving our horses a good start in life, we aim to provide a positive tone for their future.
